Our Staff

Boise Cooperative Preschool is extremely proud of our outstanding and dedicated teaching staff, many of whom were once themselves, parents of BCP students. Our staff meets all state requirements for their positions and every teacher has had many years of experience working with children.  As a cooperative preschool, our student’s learning environment is also enriched by the loving involvement of parent volunteers in the classroom.  You can learn a bit about our staff below, but more importantly, please come and visit so that we can meet you in person.

Liza moved to Boise from Jackson, Wyoming last spring. She was a loyal nanny to a family in Jackson for many years. Once in Boise, she began working as a Garden Teacher at Idaho Botanical Garden. She helped lead The Garden’s summer STEM camps, creating fun, hands on activities where the children could learn through play and getting their hands dirty. Liza loves spending time with her rescue dog, Betsy. She spends her free time hiking, backpacking, skiing, biking, gardening, and spending time on the water. Liza is so excited to join the BCP community!

Korey is originally from Coeur d’Alene but has called Boise home for the past 21 years.  She and her husband, Eric, enjoy spending time with their 18-year-old daughter, Hadley, and 11-year-old son, Keaten.  They keep Korey very busy with all of their extracurricular activities.  Swimming pools, softball, and baseball fields are their second homes!  Both of Ms. Korey’s children spent their preschool years at this wonderful school and she is so happy to be in her third year at BCP.  Ms. Korey has a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies with Leadership and Human Relations Certificate from Boise State University.  She absolutely enjoys the community atmosphere at BCP and helping students grow. BCP’s play-based structure helps to ensure that students are ready to be independent, courteous, and kind citizens in their future adventures.

Hailey is excited to meet your child and introduce them to the magic of preschool and learning! Hailey has a son in 2nd grade and a daughter in preschool. Before becoming a parent, she taught 6th grade, directed a K-6 after school program, and taught English online. Since being a parent she has helped run a neighborhood preschool co-op, volunteered as a weekly art teacher at Valley View Elementary, currently serves on the PTO and absolutely has loved it all. She graduated from Weber State University with a degree in elementary education. She and her husband will be celebrating their 11th anniversary this year. They love biking the Greenbelt, eating STIL ice cream/Chip cookies, and hiking the foothills. She *loves* the classroom atmosphere and is excited to be a part of the BCP community.

Cindy has been teaching and caring for children and their families over the past 20 years! She loves being a part of the excitement and joy children express as they learn, play, and meet everyday challenges for opportunities to grow. Cindy’s experience has been in a variety of learning environments and teaching theories. As a director/owner of her own preschool/childcare, both a teacher and classroom assistant, and a nanny. Cindy enjoys hiking the Boise foothills, bike riding the greenbelt and playing pickleball. She is extremely excited to join the BCP community!
